Downtown Summerlin is a part of the master-planned Summerlin community. Located west of the Las Vegas Strip, Downtown Summerlin provides a large variety of different activities from shopping to dining and entertainment. One of the main attractions of Downtown Summerlin is that one can enjoy all the shopping, dining, and entertainment that Las Vegas is known for without taking on the Las Vegas Strip and overly busy streets.

Summerlin also provides great outdoor spaces just minutes outside of downtown. Whether in the Summerlin Centre area or exploring Summerlin West, Summerlin North or Summerlin South, there’s so much to do in Summerlin along with the Downtown Summerlin area.

And while there is enough there to keep you occupied, the surrounding area is even more full of places and experiences. That being said, let’s take a look at some of Downtown Summerlin's best features.


Downtown Summerlin is essentially an outdoor mall, and it is even set up that way. Dillard’s and Macy’s are the two main big box stores that the area is built around. Mainly situated on the two streets of Festival Plaza Drive and Park Centre Drive, the area is home to over 125 stores.

Downtown is also situated right off of the Bruce Woodbury Beltway and provides plenty of parking surrounding the outdoor mall area that is accessible by Pavilion Center Drive and Hughes Park Drive. The area as a whole is set up for easy access.

Some other major stores include Banana Republic, Gap, Forever 21, Old Navy, Sephora, Lululemon and Victoria's Secret. From Apple to Crate & Barrel, there is something for everyone in this downtown shopping scene.


The food in Downtown Summerlin offers a good mix of national chains and locally-owned restaurants, there is almost too many delicious options to choose from.

If you are looking to eat at a place you've been to before, you have the classic California Pizza Kitchen, Dave & Buster's, Shake Shack, and Red Robin awaiting your arrival. If you're looking to explore the local restaurants, places like Trattoria Reggiano, beer Zombies and Harlo Steakhouse & Bar are sure to give you a taste that is unique to the area.


Downtown Summerlin also has a plethora of high-quality entertainment options with something for everyone.

For sports fans, be sure to check out the new Las Vegas Ballpark home of the Las Vegas Aviators, the Vegas minor league team and Triple A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. Downtown Summerlin is also home to the City Center National arena where the NHL Las Vegas Golden Knights practice. Stop in and check out on of their practices or take advantage of open ice skating times.

If you're looking for some gaming that Las Vegas is famous for, Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa has a sprawling casino floor with all the favorites from slot machines to bingo, blackjack, craps, and more, you don't have to venture far to place your bets. 

If gambling isn’t your thing, the area is also filled with beautiful golf courses and other outdoor areas. TPC Summerlin and TPC Las Vegas are mere minutes from each other and only a 10-minute drive from Downtown Summerlin. In addition, The Arroyo Golf Club is placed near downtown in nearby Red Rock Country Club.
